Honestly, I'm confused.

You joined in March of 2013 and made three posts. You've come back and posted a new intro. In neither of the stoppages, despite it being laid out there in black and white by some bad ass quitters, did you post roll.

The program here works. Post roll. Keep your word. In exchange the bad asses on this site will climb mountains to help you. You have got to do your part. Is this going to be 2013 all over again? The ball is in your court.

By the way, I did the same stupid shit you are doing for 25 years so don't think im picking on you. There is only one way to quit that I know of that works. Right now you ain't doing it. Get your name on roll if you are serious.
Now I am confused. Worktowin laid it on the line for you and you clicked the "Like" button then just split without posting roll. C'mon man.

PS..Can a mod merge his two intros just in case we get a roll post out of him?

It all sounds pretty normal, Red, but what's normal? We poisoned ourselves for a long time. It's probably gonna take a bit to get better. The great news is you should feel a little better each day, both physically and emotionally. Your short term memory, alertness, blood pressure, nerves, intestines all improve daily. Red, it doesn't get any better then being quit but it's a daily commitment. Anyone can do this but not everyone will. Take a look around, it's all right there. The cost is a promise and one day of honesty. What do you have to lose?

Just saw that you haven't been. Go to this link and tell them you want to quit with them. topic/11465559/260/

Making your promise not to dip every morning is critical. At least, it is for me. Routine is everything.

I quit dip on December 29th and its now January 13th. I went on vacation on from jan 1- 11 and had no problems at all. No withdrawal symptoms and hardly any cravings. I got home from vacation and i feel sick. All i can think about is dip. I am in a fog. All day at work it felt like I wasn't even there, i was light headed and could not concentrate. I am struggling bad. Is this normal to be in such a fog and feel so flu like sick after even 2 weeks??
Keep trucking. It sucks, but I promise it will pass. I'm getting closer to day 200. It's a battle every day, but every day it gets easier.

Are you posting roll?

Also... My chin twitches uncontrollably on occasion. Anyone have that happen before?

Thank you all

Wow look, you'd be coming up on 3 years if you'd stuck with it. What are you gonna do different this time???

Own your quit
EFN made a good point that helped me out when I first quit. I made my quit my own. I treated it like a thing that I purchased, something that was important to me that I wanted to take care of. I nurtured it and did what I had to do to make sure it became the best that it could be.

Make this quit about bettering yourself.

Red, now that you decided to stay quit for another day it's time to post roll.

You should be able to find everything you need to know to get started in the welcome center. Welcome Center

Radman put it best -

'Make a promise. Keep your word.
Never set any other goal.'

Own your quit and post roll. I quit with you.

Just want to thank everyone for giving me the balls to dump that fresh can down the toilet. I have been eating sunflower seeds all day and seems to help me slightly. Almost through the first day. Is this the hardest day to make it through?
Honestly...probably not. But...you're here, you started, might as well push yourself. We can give you some balls, but eventually you will have to grow a pair, which you will if you stay quit and lean on us.

What's you're story man? Let us get to know you a little bit. Don't glory hole us.

Where you from, how long you been posioning yourself, why do you want to quit?

Paint us a picture....
Diesel is right. Probably not.

NEVER assume you have survived the hardest day. When you make that assumption, you begin to let your guard down. Then the addiction will kick your ass. Those first three days are tough. There were a few in the 50's that sucked bad. There were some more just past HOF that were brought on by "well, what now?", and there have been others since. I'm not trying to discourage you, but rather to point out that the system here is in place for a reason. I cannot quit forever. That is a scary task, and I'm a lowly addict. I can, however, push through dang near anything for 24 hours.

So, with that said: completely disregard the previous post by serenityfirefly. CWC's reply is the gospel. Addicts are never "cured", so this is not a race to some imaginary finish line. It's a process, and it's who we are.

Make a promise. Keep your word.
Never set any other goal.

Way to dump the shit down the toilet. Personally......the first week was the easiest for me. I was so happy to Quit after 20 years of being a slave. However I still struggle and still think about the round can daily. I'm just keeping it real for you....It gets better but always keep your guard up. The nic bitch is always around and she's a mother fucker. Everyone reacts differently to withdrawls.

If I can quit. YOU can Quit. One day at a time brother. I LOVE being Quit. You will love being Quit I promise. KC Bronco--aka Jason
