I don't get cavities. If you tend to get cavities your odds of losing a tooth skyrockets.

Yeah, well I lost 3 teeth, and had 4 root canals and crowns when I quit. Do it long enough and the odds are not in your favor.

well im on day 2. My gums are so low. my gums hurt still a bit. wondering if their so low i could lose a tooth? Anyone else ever lose a tooth from dipping? Thinking about a gum gaft

Gums can be receded but if still well attached to the tooth they'll protect the root and you won't lose the tooth. You probably won't want a graft unless you are experiencing lots of sensitivity to temperature in your teeth. (I went to the dentist last week for the first time in 6 years. My gums are waaay low after dipping for nearly 4 decades. He recommended no graft unless my teeth were hurting.)

Get the bone checked out. If the bone is still strong then you should be goo to go. Maybe might need a graft down the line, but who knows.

Worry about quitting. Your teeth can handle the lowered gum line. Can it handle it if you keep dipping? Hope the one you just had was your last otherwise you might not have a tooth in that gum line.
If you have the money, get grafts. But it's not going to make much of a difference really. As long as the bone is strong still you're good to go.

2. Take any dip you have lying around and flush it
