Hey Brother,

Welcome to the coolest club in the universe. It's a club that will literally SAVE YOUR LIFE. No shit.

All you have to do is get into April 12 group, post roll every day, promise not to use nicotine and then repeat.

It's not easy, but it's simple. There are 55 guys in my Feb. 12 group who have been nic free for 50 days or more. We all post roll EVERY SINGLE DAY and make our promise to one another that we will not chew. It's all about accountability.

There is no alternative.

If you need help figuring out how to post roll, watch this video: Roll Call

PM me if you have any questions. Otherwise, today is Day 9 for you, so get over there and let your new quit brothers know you have arrived.

Welcome to the rest of your life. I'll quit with you today.

Hello, My name is Tim and I'm a dipper! 'help'

Started chewing probably almost 30 years ago when a friends cool cousin shared his Happy Days with us younger kids, within a couple of years I was chewing Copenhagen and have done that ever since.

Spent 6 years in the Navy, made a bet with a friend back then to quit, he succeeded and I failed. Tried quitting 10 years ago but tried doing it with nicorete gum and that didn't work because as soon as I stopped the gum I wanted a chew.

I'm turning 44 tomorrow, I went to my doctors this summer and I knew he would give me crap for being out of shape, I knew I needed to work on that and I asked him for some chantix also.

I took the chantix, I think 6 months worth, right up until I had 5 pills left I was still chewing a can every day or two. I tried to get it refilled and the insurance company told me no. New Years eve I said that's it I'm done, it's a resolution I am going to follow through with.

I was at work New Years eve and after midnight I threw the can in the trash, I only had a couple of chantix pills so I took them the first couple of days. I don't know if that stuff gave me the fortitude to follow through or not but it seems to have taken away the nicotine withdrawl issues.

Right now it seems like the biggest cravings come after a big meal or when I'm having a beer. I chew some gum, but I don't really like it. I chew up some beef jerky and tuck it in my lip once in a while. That seems to help a little.

Well I'm 12 days into this now and just found this website last night.
