Good morning Day 2.....last night was rough - why the fuck would I want to go through that shit again...ever again. I quit again today and will sustain that quit each hours, each moment, step by step until day 3 begins and then day 4 and 5 and 100.
Stay strong brother. Just get through today, hour by hour or minute by minute, meal by meal.... Whatever it takes. let tomorrow and the days after take care of themselves. Today is all we need to concern ourselves with. PM me if you need another number.

Hang tough. The first 3 days were physically the worst for me. Take asprin, sleep meds, chew seeds, water, water, water, workout. Do whatever it takes to fight through the suck. You got this.

PM me if you have any questions.

Tonight has def. been rough - headache, dizzy "feeling", general feeling of discomfort.

I will stay strong though. I do not say what I do not mean and today I said I quit!

Coming up (towards) the end of my first day. Exercise helped a ton, as did taking my dogs on a long walk.

Agreed - I hope to never return to that tobacco shop. I bought many cans of the smokey to hold me over...but if I need more I will order them for sure.
Know thy Enemy. Great job on the first day! Tomorrow, we do it again.

I know it sucks right now but you are making the best decision of your life. Read, grind, reach out, get numbers, rage, ask questions, chew seeds, chew fake, eat fire balls, play with your balls, hell play with you're neighbors balls. Just do whatever it takes to keep that cancerous shit out your mouth. Every day you do you're confidence will grow and things will get easier. I promise. We are here for YOU. Use us.

Welcome Aboard!!!! I am with Syndrome!! Stay out of there. I use Smokey Mountain and you can get it online if need be.
1. This site is amazing and so are the people if you reach out.
2. You have to basically screw yourself. Tell everyone you care about that you are quitting. Get numbers from all of us so we will hold you accountable and be there if you need to text or talk.
3. Embrace the Suck. That statement didnt make any sense to me until I was about 15 days in. Then it was a defining statement! The first 3 days need to suck so bad that you will never want to do this to yourself ever again!!

And if none of that is working, I will quote what many HOF's have told me. " Open up a desk drawer, insert balls and close"

PM me if you need me!! Stay Quit!!

Thanks all. Already this site kicks ass, what a community. So far today (has been 8 hours since I officially became a quitter). I have gone through two bags of sunflower seeds, half a bag of spearmint life savers, a CLIF bar and did find some nicotine free/herbal alternative shit called "Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff"....oddly enough I found it at a tobacco shop around the corner from my building.

One minute at a time is great advice as currently I want to put my head through a window.
man im gonna reckamend you go back buy as much as you think you need then stay the fuck out a that place like its the house of anthrax. never walk thru that door agin. ever.

on one a my many failed quit attemps afore findin this place i got my fake shit in a tabacco shop. then one day they dint have it. i bot cope insted.

Kevin, I extend my hand of support. I as an addict understand your struggle and withdrawal pain but you and I are far from alone, thousands of us are quitting everyday and winning! Many quitters grabbed my hand 289 days ago and helped guide me through my early days of quit. Now as I'm more secure I can do the same for you. Pm me if I can help.

Welcome to the rest of your life. Post every day and make your quit the most important thing in your life, and you will succeed. I just made two years quit after dipping for 30 years. If my addict ass can beat tobacco so can you. PM me if you need anything.

As for the herbal dip, your best bet may be to order some. Unfortunately the only place I was ever able to find it was in tobacco stores. Go figure.

Welcome fellow quit badass! This is the place with the formula that helped me quit after 32 years of putting that crap in my lip. Post every day, repeat. These quitters will hold you accountable and for the last 228 days the nic bitch has been squashed in my life. It's a great feeling. Hang in and embrace the suck, you will be glad you did.
