Bnsf, make sure you get here every morning and get your name on roll. Do what ever you have to do to keep your promise. Sort out the rest afterwards.

Meds or no meds it is for some and not others. Myself, I needed them briefly.

I made 3 trips to the doctor in one week, midway to my 100.

I thought I was dying. Literally.

After having a final exam in his office he first gave me a shot then I requested a prescription which he granted.

I opted to take them only as needed which thankfully wasn't much. Maybe 4-5 times the next few weeks. Since then they haven't crossed my mind. If someone needs it go for it. If not and you can push through that's great.

BNSF,

Hey man, we are all here with you and we completely understand where you are right now. If it helps to know you're not alone, please read my intro here. I suffered from the whole extreme gamut of anxiety and depression, complete with full-blown panic and daily crying fits.

I also refused to even consider meds, despite everyone suggesting I try them, and guess what: I'm totally stable now and have been since just before the new year. No drugs for me. Not then, not now, not ever.

You will get better, my friend. You are now committed to your quit and there is no turning back. You will experience hell, and then one day the sky will open up and you will be free. I promise.

Sam

my god, this is a killer. went to the doc like a puss and told him my symptoms and he want to put me on meds, no fuckin way. i just needed him to tell me i wasnt dying. panic attack are really bad
Don't be so quick to be opposed to meds and there is nothing wrong with talking to a Dr about any anxiety or depression. Dippin often covered symptoms of anxiety or depression. Quitting often exposes or magnifies problems. There is a lot of pussies that post here daily that not only have run to Drs., taken meds and even cried like babies while going threw early withdrawal and reprogramming our brains to live without nicotine.
