Good morning Cindy...I know the boat you and your husband are in. Quitting for good is by far the hardest and scariest thing I've EVER done. War was easier on me than quitting if that says anything. The sense of pride you and he will feel once you hit 100 days will be like no other. Come to us for help, we've been in your shoes and know what you're going through. The headaches, the agitation, the mood swings, the sick feeling, the jitters, the fog and emotions. It's hard, no other way to say it. But you can do it. I chewed for 12 years myself and the last 6 of it I wanted to quit but just couldn't. I'd get a headache when I'd try, throw in a dip, be fine. I found that smokey mountain chew was a perfect alternative. Same wintergreen flavor, same burn, same sensation of having a dip in. It was actually better because, well 1, it was all natural herbs and mints and whatnot, and 2 I could have one in ANYWHERE because you didn't have to tote a spit bottle around with you. It was my saving grace and I don't regret for one second EVER quitting. Sure there are still times where I want a dip in...I just know I CAN go without so I WILL go without. Feel free to reach out to me. Yall inbox me on those rough days and I'll try my best to walk you through it. YOU...CAN...DO...IT.
