I'm here with you too man. I relapsed too, and am starting all over again today. We both know how shitty the next week is going to be, but we just have to stick through it. "light at the end of the tunnel" kind of deal
How many "relapses" is this Chesty? Am I seeing this right? You attempted in 09, then tried again this Sept 11. Now, hoping Oct. 11 sticks? I wish you good luck friend.
Handle it fellas!!! I'm quitting with you today
Day 5 - Day 4 was the worst day thus far. Hands down. I feel a little better today.

Honestly, I don't know why I caved. I was out doing some fishing and was offered some chew. I guess my mind convinced itself that if I did it one time, it would be alright. The symptoms were back, like I never even got rid of them.

What is different this time, is I need to stick around these forums and take in some of the logic versus my own thought process. I am an addict, and the things running through my head aren't necessarily right.

Thank you.

Noticed your a marathon runner that dips. We are in the same boat on that one. At one point in my life I was doing triathlons and dipping while on the bike. Ultimate hypocracy. Also Kiawah is a beautiful island, we venture there every summer. I enjoyed your speech.

What is different this time?

Why did you cave?
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Theres a lot of people that come here, especially vets, that WANT to be reminded that they are addicts.-Tarpon 6/12

Just as a building starts with architectural drawings. Your daily quit begins with a promise.-Scowick 2/13

Here and now, focused on today, minute by minute, whatever it takes, I promise to all my bros and myself not to become a negative stat and stay quit!-krok 1/15

I want everyone to be quit. Even the assholes.-Probe1957 1/18

Ignoring history or erasing history fixes nothing and leads you inevitably down the same path.-69franx 04/30/2021

Well.....sounds like you learned your lesson about the "one dip" thing! I did that many times before finding this site.

We are all addicts to Nic. There is no such thing as "one last dip". one dip turns into one can turns into I'll quit next week.

Just keep that in mind when you find the addict talking in your head again telling you its ok cuz you can handle one pinch!!!

Proud to be quit with you today!

I'm a previous quitter (I shouldn't say that, i'm not worthy of the title). I had a relapse about a month ago. I couldn't believe it. My mind came up with a resolution that I would chew and it would be a one time thing, and like having a drink it would be fine.

All of the hard work I put into quitting was gone. Out the fucking door.

So here's to starting over. Its gonna be a rough few days, but i've done it before and I know its possible. The hundreds of testimonials are my inspiration.

So here's a little information about myself. I'm a web developer located in Cincinnati, this region seems to be the dip capital of the world. My triggers include driving, and coding. I throw in a pouch or drool all over myself when I do either of these. Its sad, I know.

Truth be told, i'm tired of being controlled by this drug and i'm tired from hiding it from people that find it disgusting. Most of you will most likely find me in the chat, hearing from you guys keeps my guard up and motivates me to keep moving forward in a dip-free life.
