A can of Wintergreen Skoal a day for 29 years. I just had my 44th birthday and it's time to quit. I am overweight and really just dont feel good physically anymore. I cant keep up with my 11 year old son. I cant get through a full day of work. I cant even walk up a flight of steps without being our of breath. I am tired of it. And I believe it all starts with this little green can. My name is Chris and I am looking forward to the help and support I hope to receive on this board.

Welcome skins. Do what CWC said. Read about roll call. Then get on roll. Tonight. It's too important not to take care of this tonight. Yell if any questions.

Hey Guys so I just finished my hopefully last dip ever. I have read a few posts talking about how they have battled dipping for quite a few years and I as well have been doing that. For the last 10 years I have been a prisoner of nicotine and I hate that. I hate that I have invested so much money into something thats only purpose is to destroy me. I ask that yall help me stay on track of quittiing for the last and final time. As I am sitting her thinking about quitting my body is in crazy mode all it wants is another dip and I am thinking about how easy it would be for me to go down to the gas station and pick up a new can. I really feel like doing this 'bang head' and giving in but I want a better life for myself one that doesnt depend on tobacco. Thanks guys for listening and hopefully supporting me.

Andy
Hey Andy,

Welcome to the best resource you could find for quitting dip. I would suggest you start at the WELCOME CENTER for what you need to know to get started. You would post roll - which we do first thing every day - in the July 2013 Group. Post up a Day 1, and then let's roll.

We support each other, hold each other accountable, and have a brotherhood like no other site on the web.

Greg,

You are AWESOME!
Thank you sir. I was proud of that one.
I am proud of you for taking the high road instead of the nagging emotional route that turns potential quitters off. Nice letter, hope you get a positive response.
Yes I know how tempting it was to say "Nick you look like a douche bag with that crap in your lip". Well done in showing restraint!
