Yes, I bought a few tins but wasn't happy with the texture. Super gritty, will do a number on your gumline. I prefer Hooch, Oregon Mint Snuff, and Young's.

Its a good thing im the only one in the house tonight, I just absolutely lost it after laying in bed not sleeping for the second night in a row. Im completely exhausted and my mind just wont shut off. I'm committed to quitting but this not sleeping thing is going to kill me faster than the chew was going to. I need to go buy a punching bag or something or else my wall is going to be full of fist holes. Ive been laying around for four hours now and i dont feel even remotely close to falling asleep. So fucking pissed off now its unreal
Tylenol PM bro.
Whatever you do, don't give up your quit! Your body needs to adjust to being nic-free and it takes time. I suffered from insomnia during the first part of my quit - and I mean suffered!! Getting lots of exercise helped me the most.

I'm sleeping well now; you'll get through this. Ride out the storm, brother!!!

Anybody know a good way to deal with the insomnia? I was up for most of the night just laying in bed unable to go to sleep and now I am exhausted. How long does the insomnia last?
Get some exercise.

On second thought, get a lot of exercise.
I have been getting a lot of exercise in to help combat the craves and irritability. That makes the insomnia even more frustrating.
Unfortunately there's not a whole lot else I can recommend. Your body will take some time getting back to normal without all that nicotine running through your blood.

When I was waking up at 4am I would just get up and start my day. Another option is read or watch late-night tv until you fall asleep. I'd avoid alcohol but you might try some herbal tea.

It should pass in the next week or two
I used valerian tea early in my quit with some success. I'd drink two bags before bed. You should be able to find it at vitamin/herbal whatever shops. Oh yeah, and it smells like feet.
So taking a couple of teabags helped you huh?
Sure did!

Not as much as putting two testicles in my mouth, however.
