Is there a way I can get notifications when someone posts on my introduction? Either email or via PM? Or if someone posts on a topic I have posted to as well? I hope this is the right place to ask such a question. If not, you can kick my ass out and tell me where to go. Thanks and as always, Quit On brothers!

A reminder about tomorrow night and Hawk visiting chat. For those who use fake, I know the owner of Hooch has offered some freebies and/or discounts to folks who are in chat in the past.

I see you posted day 12 in your group. Feel free to post questions or how you're feeling in your group. Plenty of folks in there are probably feeling the same way and it may get some discussion going.

CLOSE THE DOOR. In my opinion, it?s the single most important step in your final quit. There is one moment, THE moment, when you finally let go and surrender to the quit.
After that moment, no temptation will be great enough, no lie persuasive enough to make you commit suicide by using tobacco. SportDad 1/13/05

It's funny how i used to stay away from the horrer stories like gwynn, kelly, rick bender and others when i used to dip. But now i cling onto these stories because this is the reality of doing this stuff. You can try to avoid consequences all your life but it will eventually come back to get you if not taken care of. I've always tried to plan when i'm going to quit. Maybe 6 months from now, 1 year, 2 year. But the longer i waited, the harder it was for me to quit and the higher the risk i put myself in of getting cancer.

There has been some that dipped for years and hasnt had any major problem, others unfortunately did. But for us personally, we dont know if it could happen to us because we dont know our future. So the question is... is it worth the risk?

so Jim Kelly did use dip?
I've been a Bills fan my whole life. Jim Kelly was my favorite player growing up. I can't say that I've ever heard that he was a dipper, however, he is a good 'ol boy, loves to hunt, etc...so I would not be at all surprised if he was.

Hey guys James here,I need to quit because I am worried. My last dip was yesterday and I have been dipping since I was 16 until my current age of 25. I started off slow in the beginning going from 1 can every 3 days until I reached a high of 1 can every day. So that is 9 years of poison to the body. I am starting to get worried because I've noticed within a year that something doesn't seem quite too right. I've been developing bad acid reflux due to my poor diet over a years span (before my poor diet I've been a gym rat for atleast 7 years with a good diet) I've started to notice that when I have these episodes of acid reflux, I notice areas of my mouth including my lips feel unusually different. It's almost like my reflux activates nerves in my mouth. This is hard for me to explain and I was really hoping someone has similar stories that can help ease my stress over this. Also, adding to this I would like to mention that certain head movements (not all of the time) make the area of my neck that meets the jaw feel somewhat uncomfortable (not painful but a noticeable feeling) I am just worried about this dipping situation, if I could I would have never of picked up this habit but we all know that's not possible.
Go to the Doctor, anything we can tell you is mostly anecdotal. See a professional, now.
Agree with Slug. If you are that worried, you need a professional, and we are not Dr's.

It's probably just your body freaking out, but it would be best to hear that from a physician after he has done a thorough exam.
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!

From folks that are big Bills fans.. yes, regularly.
I heard that John Elway and Dan Morino did as well. Well sad to hear that Jim Kelly may have done this to himself, but that doesn't mean I wont pray for him and stand behind him because this could've been any of us
