Todd,
I definitely have joined this amazing website long after your time here, but I have to just say, being able to sit here and read your saga, your bitches, gripes, complaints, rambles, and anything your mind thought, had helped me so much today. Day 4 for me has been a tough one for me. Today for the first time in a long time, my dad made me cry, a grown ass man cry. He told me he was proud of my decision to quit, and how much it meant that his grandkids will have their dad. Reading your story and thoughts just reminds me I’m not alone, I’m not the only person, and I thank you. I’m making it my goal to do all I can to help others, because so far from what I’ve read about you and what others say to/about you, you’re one hell of a guy. From one quitter to another, rest easy brother, we’ll keep the quit going.

Hey Todd, been doing some late night reading as I did last night too, and thought I would finally leave a message this time. It truly is amazing how far your reach actually goes. No longer with us, but your words very much alive. You are one hell of a courageous man. One who embodies what it means to be selfless. Through all the pain, the chemo, radiation, traveling, gerbil removal, you still made it a priority to document this ongoing journey. Not for yourself, but for the betterment of others. I never got a chance to talk to you by the time I had joined, you had already been chasing Wilbur around up there in heaven. Just know when the good Lord comes calling for me and it is time to spread my wings and fly, I will be looking for you up there. To finally meet one of the baddest quitters ever to grace the halls of KTC. You've been a role model for me in my quit, my only hope is that I'm living up to even a fraction of the precedent that has been set by you, Todd Garcia. May your memory live on forever here at KTC.

RIP Trauma. Reading your saga changed my life. I have no words, they all fall short of expressing what is in my heart for you and yours. You live on through your words and what you are sharing, still. You are still changing lives.

What a privilege it was to read this thread from beginning to end.  It amazes me how much of an impact Todd has had on people's lives...even from beyond this world.  RIP Trauma.  Your courage and bravery in detailing your experience has certainly helped to save my life.  God speed my friend.

Missing you today Todd. Today I would have reached out for some brother love. Today a friend is hurting and it really brought up why this place works. You will always be a huge part of why I made it to, now day 1552. But I wish you were here.
