Do you have digits in case you can't help yourself and are on the brink of not being a man of your word? And just in case you're concerned I am a hillbilly, I practice law.

I'd suggest having a plan or putting the bottle down now. Awfully early in the quit to be saucing.
You're a lawyer? How many brother/sister paternity battles ddo you do on a montly basis?
Why did you knock up your sister?
If you saw my sister, you wouldn't be asking that question.

Crash and burn eminent.

Can see it coming from a mile away.

Pussy doesn't want to be here. Correction...pussy doesn't want to put in the work to stay here.

He wants it to be easy. It's not.

He wants forever to he here tomorrow. It won't.

He wants to find an excuse to go back to the can. He will.
My favorite comment so far is that he is smarter than all of the hillbillies on here. Now, I am from the ozarks originally so maybe I deserve it, but others???

Here's a short list of a few of my ktc friends:
Missile engineer
Bank VP (celebrity credit services)
CPA
Pharmacist
Software CEO
Director of Physical Therapy (in charge of 60+)
VP of Finance  Supply Chain
Corporate Counsel
Professor
Numerous highly skilled blue collar professionals...

Addicts are some of the smartest people I've ever met. Extremely focused. Ethical. Honest. But they are addicts.

Don't come in here and attack everyone with a chip on your shoulder, punk. This place is about teamwork and winning. Not trying to say my brain is bigger than yours, my Lexus is nicer than your Lexus, my kids go to better schools than yours... because I'll promise you that there are a lot of very affluent, literate, and educated addicts here. And a few hillbillies (like me).

I hope you stay quit. You are on a slippery slope right now
In his defense, he only said that he was smarter than 80% of the Hillbillies on the board, not smarter than 80% of the total KTC population.
Uh.... W2W....

you omitted Senior Field Grade Officers in the United States Military (retired and still serving). I know of several of them populating the halls of KTC and last time I checked, there weren't too terribly many dummies in that particular group. Of course, I may be a tad bit biased.

Ironic. The title of this intro is "Help me quit"
Just one and you will be back where you started.
And where you started was desperately wishing
you were where you are right now.

What do I do if I don't like my quit group?
Stick with it, cause you're more than likely still in the fog / massive rage days. Sit back and think about what you don't like and maybe offer your ideas up to the group to make all of your quits stronger. And if that doesn't work just rage on your board and text some vets who you do like.
You don't like your quit group?
Because they're calling you out on your bs?

Have you joined the adult world yet?
Because I'm pretty sure that you're going to be in a million situations where you don't like someone or a group of people.
And you're going to have to deal with it.

Are you even serious about your quit?

Man up and grow a pair.

Also, just curious- how smart did you feel when your girlfriend found out that you were dipping and lying about it? I'm guessing Mensa level smart, right?

Hey everyone, I finished my last can last night (bittersweet) and I'm ready to quit chewing forever. I'm going to start reading everyone else's intros too. Thanks everyone for your support.
I see you lost your first battle with nicotine. I threw away a can that I purchased 20 minutes before finding this site, 296 days ago. I took one dip out of it before flushing it. Quit means not finishing.

Your biggest obstacle in your quit seems to be your ego. We all have our demons. At least you know yours. I'm here to help if you need it and want it.
Ego implies that it's all in my head. Actually, I am smarter than 80% of the hilbillies on this board.
Well as you are smarter than most of us lead the way! :P
