Agreed. 100 days is awesome. Bet 101 days ago you would have never dreamed you would be here today. I know I feel that way. Congrats on the HOF and continue to post daily. For a good example, go look at Scuba Steve in Dec from last night.
Congrats spitstickler!. Enjoy the day, but always remember what has gotten you this far and continue to post roll like a badass.

I quit with you today.
Congrats Spit on the HOF! Stay QUIT by keeping QUIT.

30 days in. Mostly feel like I'm cruise control but do have craves that sneak up on me every once in a while. Posting roll every day and keeping my word. I will not cave. No fake dip, just seeds and gum have gotten me over the bumps. I still have trouble concentrating at work at getting things done. Still feels like friggin' ADD or something, but that's getting better. ....Squirrel!!!!

Still exercising and in week 4 of the Couch to 5k program. Last week felt so good that I put in a free exercise day with a light ruck and 4.5 miles of mostly walk with a little run. Got myself some nice blisters. Not used to the extra weight or the inclines I was incorporating.

The C25K workout on Monday destroyed me moving up to almost twice as much running as the week before. Not looking forward to today, but I will do it. I think my body still hadn't recovered from last week. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right? :)

The exercise is definitely playing a part in my quit. I'm cutting back on food intake and increasing food quality. I feel a lot better, but have to stave off hunger craves often. Big glass of water when they hit helps. Much like the nic craves they get a little easier each day. Not doing any formal diet, or weigh ins or anything like that. Just trying to concentrate on how much better I feel with the less crap and poison in my body.
Good update. I remember right around a month, I felt more regular. I felt new, best description is I felt I had my choice back and everything looked, smelled and tasted better. Just keep focused on 100% posting roll and keeping your word.

That nicotine lady is cunning. You will start off a day great and like a punch in the mouth, she will get you in a choke hold. Keep digits close, and post roll. Put on your quit armor. You are still at war even though you feel free.

Congrats on this milestone. Stay undefeated! 835 wins to Zero losses. I drank the kool-aid and followed orders and I am free.
Quit And Be Free

CM.. Yes, it's definitely helping out. Hard to want a dip when you can't breath, or think a muscle is going to snap :) ...and exercise certainly isn't a trigger for me like almost everything else in my day-to-day life.

Slug. I'll check it out. I think I just need to have something that keeps me on a schedule and right now works me up slowly. The Couch to 5K thing is perfect for me. 3 times a week and keeps stepping up the challenge, but not too fast.

Stickler,

Just a note of encouragement....exercise, as you're probably finding out...helps a LOT to get rid of cravings and keep your mind otherwise employed.

Proud to be a Sultan and quit with you, brother!
And that exercise doesn't have to mean a gym membership...look up the app YAYOG (you are your own gym) plenty of body weight exercises. On my non-gym days I do 50 squats, 50 pushups, 15 pull ups and 3 minute planks, repeat for 2 sets, about 20 minutes and you've got a great workout in.
Quit since 1/23/14

Just a few stiff craves per day on average. After a meal is the hardest. Sunflower seeds head 'em off within a couple of mouthfuls. Frustrated with myself for not doing this earlier. Gotta say, it's way easier to go through this as part of a group than flying solo. Been waking up earlier than usual for me thinking about roll and my promise for the day. One day at a time - one foot in front of the other.

Still doing the couch to 5k workouts. Up to week 2, workout #2. My body REAAALLLY didn't want to go this evening, but went anyway. Glad I pushed through, but it hurt. Looking forward to a 4.5 mile run-n-gun biathlon in October. I've done it a couple of times before but just fast-walked. Not this time.

^^^^ gospel right there. As much as you want friends and family to slap you on the back and throw you a party ( maybe it's just me, because I'm a special butterfly), most don't care much. I even got a "we'll see how long this lasts" and a "Good, go clean the car now" (thanks a bunch hun!).

Bottom line is, I think you are kicking ass, and the KTC does too every day we see your name on roll.

Been telling more and more friends I'm off the stuff. There are some folks I wish I'd thought it through a little bit more. Most are supportive, but some are kinda like so what, I haven't drank a Coke in three weeks.
This chapped my ass the first few weeks as well but I came to the realization that non tobacco users will never get it. Smokers who kicked it cold turkey will understand. Chewers/dippers will fully understand. It's hard as a mother to go it alone and be successful. That's why KTC is around. Makes it easier knowing you are not going it alone and thousands have been successful using the method. Keep racking up +1s.

You're kicking ass, dude. A day 13 is a GIANT win. Exercise will definitely help. I was pounding the holy fuck outta racquetballs on Day 13.

I'm quitting with you the rest of the day, and we'll jump back on it tomorrow.

13 days in now. Today is the first day that I haven't had the urge to eat everything within sight. I'm very thankful for that because I know I've been packing it on.

Been telling more and more friends I'm off the stuff. There are some folks I wish I'd thought it through a little bit more. Most are supportive, but some are kinda like so what, I haven't drank a Coke in three weeks.

Some cravings on Sat, but nothing horrible. A couple today. It's getting better. I've been incorporating some exercise. I'd been considering anyway, but when I saw Rob post about his couch to 5k routine I figured I'd jump on that too. 1 week (3 exercise days) into that as well. I'm sore but smiling.
