Isn't it amazing how great it is to take your life back? Going into month 2... Stress gets easier to deal with. Good food (like that brisket you made early on) starts tasting better. Your wife will be even more proud than she already is. And the goal of that horse farm seems even more beautiful without the cloud of poison in your body.

Keep vigilant! Things get easier now... The battle isn't constant, but rather an occasional shot from a sniper. You've got this... You've come so far!! Thanks for being an inspiration to me.

Thanks Michael !! You have been there for me since day one. I am proud to me on your team. I am Quitting nicotine with You this weekend. Is that a deal ???
Deal. Have a great weekend!
4 weeks is a big deal! Keep your guard up, because the game kind of changes a little here. The days get easier. The cravings are less frequent, and generally less intense. But once in a while... A big craving can still arrive out of the blue. For no reason at all.

It is nicotine trying to woo you back. You are prepared, and you will win. Just keep this site close and keep in touch if you need anything. Very proud to quit with you as you go into week 5!
You are right again Michael. Today was one of those days. I could almost taste the Copenhagen when the craving hit me. But instead of that, I just stuffed my lip with trident. This was another successful weekend under my belt. Cheers to you my friend.

Since I Quit, which was 25 days ago, the taste of diet coke has completely changed. Two times at a restaurant I sent back the fountain diet coke and complained that the taste was bad. Later, after drinking from a bottle I got the same strange taste. Has anyone else had this experience ?? Quit On November Quit Brothers...........................
my taste has changed with a lot of things. I don't need as much salt as before to taste it. I can detect more flavors as opposed as prior. Personally diet coke tastes like the backside of the boss if you ask me. you will notice changes all the way around. Even situations you will respond differently. Keep on keeping on
Yes, I have noticed some other changes. My Russian Wife kisses me every morning even BEFORE brushing teeth. This is a great and fantastic benefit of Quitting for Good........................................Quit On My November Quit Brothers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You Sir are living the quit dream! Good food and better lovin'....KTC Quit!
I used to love McDonalds fish sandwich....since my quit..they taste like dogshit...(had dogshit in my mouth for 30 yrs).
A lot of food tastes different...Diet coke tastes better for me.
Enjoy your freedom, post roll every damn a.m., keep your damn word, wake and repeat!

Cheers.
I love your slogan..."If being quit was easy, everybody would be doing it." For the last 25 days, I notice more people than ever dipping and smoking. I often think to myself, "why don't they have the same strength and vision to quit this nasty nicotine habit for Good."
I'm with trauma on this one. Not a diet coke fan. Food in general tastes better. Everything is better. Give it time and let your body adjust. The pride from your wife (not to mention additional benefits) will only get better with time. Proud to be on your team.

Day 19 and still clean. I am planning on buying a boat with all the cash I am saving from not dipping.

This time, I really quit and I put my $5/day, that I would spend on Cope, into a jar. This will be part of our vacation money next year.
Oh little worm-dirt...you are so scary...F' OFF...!!!
