Nice job posting roll. That is your promise, your pledge, your word to remain nicotine free for 24 hours. Honor your word then repeat tomorrow. Welcome.
Welcome to taking you life back from the nic bitch...you got this.
ODAAT and NAFAR, period
Proud to have you on roll, I knew I was safe to quit with you in July even before you posted. I could see it in your post. Quit with you.
I would rather lose to a cheater than win as a cheater.

Misc welcome to the group. Glad you found us there is a great group of guys and gals here as you have already seen. Take advantage of the offers for support they are priceless.

Welcome to "THE SUCK" fog, anxiety, dizziness, rage, inability to concentrate. Remember what it is and you won't have to go through it again. The best advice anyone gave me when I came here was "It will suck until it doesn't and then it won't". He was right, I am at 15 days and starting to crawl out of the suck.

Proud to quit with you today.

Please don't hesitate to PM me if you need anything.

good work...deep breath, go fill up a gallon jug of water and drink on it all day....fireballs help me still. They'll tear the shit out of your mouth but it will quell the cravings a bit
i'll pick some up after work today, and bring in more than a mug for water tomorrow too.

Great decision. This will be pure, unadulterated, immortal hell. You have poisoned yourself for 28 years and now your body is gonna get really pissed when you stop as I am sure you are already experiencing. But it is so worth the pain to be free like all of us, and it gets better with time! I have already posted roll with you in the July group, figure it out and go do the same. If you have problems PM me and I will walk you through it. Listen, you can do this, you will do this, fuck you are doing this. We will quit with you.
you are absolutely right. "...pure, unadulterated, immortal hell." yes, it has started.
Enjoy it. You are crawling through a river of shit and slime to EARN your freedom.

In a couple days the sun will be shining and you feel more alive than you have felt in the past 20 years.

We've all been in your shoes Misc! You are most definitely in for some shitty days ahead 'bang head' 'bang head' 'bang head' but you'll come through them on the other side.

Make sure you have plenty of whatever the hell you need to put in your mouth to keep busy..... seeds, gum, fireballs, fake dip....Anything as long as it doesn't have nicotine in it and drink a ton of water!!!

Read everything you can on this site  post roll every single day. If I can figure it out, it must be pretty easy!!
i'll read as much as i can. i have gum, but will stop after work and pick up some fireballs, and i saw some mint (fake chew) at the health food store, so i'll grab that too.

it appears i took care of roll...i think.

Hi Everyone - Today is day one for me. I have been chewing for 28 years, and have tried the patches,  gum and chantix numerous times in the past. I don't think any of it worked because I didn't have the right mindset at the time. Today I can say I will NEVER chew again. I found myself reaching for a can on my dresser as I walked to the backroom this morning when I rolled out of bed. Not only because of the addiction, but also out of habit. It wasn't there. Last night I dumped every can I had left. I went through all the normal hiding places; coat pockets, desk drawers, cabinets hidden behind cups and dishes, etc. I no longer have any Kodiak in the house, truck or hidden at work. I know this isn't going to be easy, but with your support, the support of my wife, and having the right mindset, I'm sure I can do it this time. Hopefully one day I'll be in a position to help others.
Misc,
congrats on day one! I'm at day 964.......yes we count them here! You quit one day at a time.

Get ready for a couple of days of suck! Embrace it......remember how bad you feel.......use that memory later if you think of caving........you don't want to go through this again.

Glad to be quit with you.......today.
you are correct, it sucks already.
