Took the kids shooting today. They had a blast, no pun intended. My youngest son shot a real rifle for the first time and my middle son shot a twelve gauge for the first time. It was a good day.
On the diet front I been eating more often but low carb/low cal stuff like carrots and salad. Still getting protein but not at every time I eat.
Today was an off day for lifting.
R3 don't worry about weighing yourself everyday if your working out and changed your diet, you will gain weight for a while. Muscle weighs more than fat. Measure by notches in your belt for a while. Also don't deprive yourself of all the foods you enjoy because you will end up binge eating and that's the worse thing you can do. Smaller portions and 1 plate. Good luck brother it's tough but anyone that can quit dipping can beat anything in my book!
I am required to weight in daily for a weight lose program I'm in at the VA Clinic. I would rather not but it's to monitor the effectiveness of the new med I'm on. It's designed to treat diabetes and to cause weight lose. Its new to the VA so I'm heavily monitored.
I eat stuff I like, just cut out sodas, and sweets, depending more on healthier food. I drink a smoothie made with 3cups kale 3 cups spinach and.5 cups of red, yellow, and dark fruit with 2 cups of almond milk.
Example: supper tonight was a 5 oz. pork chop, .5 cup of buttered noodles and 2 cups of lettuce salad.
A little bit after that I ate 2 cheese sandwiches with low carb bread. So I'm eating. Just starting to get back to the gym. I do appreciate the thought thanks!
