It's awfully focking quiet in here. Better not type too loud or the echo will become deafening.

Walker - If you put even half the amount of effort into quitting as you do into engaging everyone on this site and the other half investing in your quit as you do digging up worthless stats about insignificant shit, you might actually get somewhere.

I see two days was about as long as you could make it this time. I love it when people prove everyone's point.

Nothing to see here...move along.

This dude is no doubt a special butterfly. Dude shut up and listen and quite being so damn mad at the world! Do you ever stop and be thankful you're a live and listen to the birds, watch the animals try to enjoy life? I would hate to know that I woke up every day hating everything.

I do love the "stats crowd". There have been many that have come before you and many that will no doubt, come after you. The interesting thing to me about stats when it comes to my quit is that they are a completely self-fulfilling prophecy. I know that when I post roll every day, I am 100% guaranteed to succeed and win today. I don't know what would happen if I didn't post roll because honestly, I almost never miss a day. Regardless, I can change the outcome of the statistic by my actions which means I can alter the outcome based solely on my decisions.

At the end of the argument, you are either looking for an excuse or to "prove someone wrong" both of which are absolutely counter productive to the task at hand...winning today and gaining one more day of freedom.

I do find in interesting that your last activity on here shows as 5:31am (mountain time) yet there is still no roll post from you today. Real quitters find a way to get their name on roll....no exception or excuses. Perhaps it was an oversight...perhaps you thought you had posted...not for me to decide but I believe the point is valid.
I agree. I am 100% quit when I post and I am 100% posting since sept, 2015. Posting keeps me quit. No question. quit with me

So after my little spat with klark, I decided to look up some stats. 1,541 ppl where active on this site in the last 30 days.

Better yet there are a bunch that have 0 posts. Gonna check that out next.
And tell them how they should quit? Maybe when they tell you they have a way you can pat them on the ass and so go get em.

This should be fun.

Walkerm, I've been watching your situation. I'm not sure why. My first encounter with you was when I was conducting your previous quit group, August 2016, into the HOF. This was our conversation.

I didn't know how to take you, so I didn't respond. I've posted a few other responses to your posts since then, and you haven't responded. Granted, you've been hit from all sides with attacks and questions, so I kind of understand. I'm trying to make you understand your quit, and how to make it work. It's hard to do when my voice can't be heard over the din.

So, I've been munching popcorn, watching the wheels wobble in your current quit, wondering how to help you keep them from falling off yet again.

As is frequently the case, Mrs. Irish slapped me upside the head with the answer. She was reading the local newspaper, and said "There's an article in here that you need to read, the guy is talking about nicotine addiction." I read the article, and this is what jumped out at me:

"When you are ready, the change you are about to make moves toward the top of the list of the most important things in your life. This is critical, because you will always find a way and make time to do the things you believe are important.

You are not ready if you need a bunch of qualifiers and circumstances that have to be just right, or if you are looking for something that promises a quick and easy path to your goal, or if you depend on others and outside influences to motivate you. If thatÂ’s you, my advice is, donÂ’t waste your time. You are a wanna-be who very likely will drop out when the newness of the change wears off and LIFE 101 intervenes and you confront adversity that requires dedication. Save yourself the aggravation and come back when you are ready."

I've said the same thing on several occasions: Your quit must be as important as anything else in your life.

I'll leave you with that. That's all I have to give you.
WalkerM- that's a lot to give. Well done Irish. Hopefully he guzzles.
