In the car on the way to Chicago, everyone in the group is now informed of my quit. All were supportive. Also, gave the entire group permission to physically abuse me, if they see me with a dip or holding a real dip can. (fake stuff is excused). Needless to say, they were excited about the idea of this, not to often they get to hit me without me hitting them back. haha. But too bad for them they still won't have the opportunity this weekend either. Anyway, I got my laptop out and posted on here, because car trips were always big trigger points for my chewing as well, especially when most of the guys in the car have the nasty shit in their lips right now too. Staying strong and I will make it through this weekend. So for now, my pal David sunflower seeds and I are going to have a party.

I am so damn proud of this quit. Day by day ND is becoming my new quit hero. One of the strongest mother fuckers in this place right now.

I've already called two of my best friends (who are also going on the trip), to let them know i'm done with it. They are very supportive. I told them, that if they see me with a dip this weekend, they have my 100% permission to punch me in the nuts.

Like you, I registered on this site with a quit plan for a future date, and got kicked around a bit. This place can be hardcore at times, but it works.

Once you make it past this weekend, you can make it past anything.

That's awesome. One piece of advice though, do not make your quit dependent on others quits. My brother-in-laws quit inspired mine, and mine inspired my dad. we ll uit in a one month period. I am the only one that used this site, and I am the only one of the three that remains quit. I hope your situation turns out better, but if he caves it does not give you the right to so as well. Also, feel free to invite him here. It will help his quit as well.
