Do you want to be quit?
In the end I Surrender, I and I alone accept that I have and always will have a Nicotene ADDICTION. It is my choice to quit, but I can't do it alone. I get to go down this path one time, I want to do it right. I recognize that my word, my integrety to you is on the line and is only as good as my actions. Caving is not an option in this plan-Eafman 7/11

I am not cured. I will quit one day at a time. I will continue to do what works. Posting roll everyday. To do otherwise would be foolish on my part. You can do this-Ready 12/11

To overcome your addiction you must comprehend what it means to fail-Razd 3/12

Hey new on here haven't quit yet not sure exactly how bad it is anyways since most days I chew maybe twice a day? Anyone else chew less than normal people usually do?
Your still an addict and the smartest thing you can do is quit now before you wake up someday and realize decades have passed and your entire life is controlled by the worm dirt 24/7! You sound like an addict that is trying to justify your minimal using.

We don't chew at all. Not anymore.

See the pink "Welcome Center" above to learn about the site after you take out that last dip, toss your can and decide you're going to do this.

It ain't easy, actually it sucks. For a while. It way better, and freedom is worth it. We can help.

Do it. Now.

I'm also working on a new chat that won't require flash. It's a couple if weeks out though.

Why the fuck can I not change my avitar?  Am I missing something.  Its very innocent, not like I'm putting a pic of my schlong out there.  Pissing me off.
Make sure it is the proper type of file. That's most likely the problem. This was my first forum and it took me forever to find an avatar file that was acceptable. I kept getting an error message that told me I needed another extension.
It listed the "acceptable" types, .jpeg etc... And I made sure it was on of the ones listed but still kept getting an error saying I don't know what I'm doing.

Day 2 is beginning, and all I have to say is I love college!

We had an awesome day yesterday (and don't worry...we have some blog posts to come shortly!).  We made a lot of new friends.  Luckily, our reputation has preceded us and people are very curious about us.  Many quit programs are starting to focus on smokeless, and they are realizing that NRT's are ineffective at best with this process.

It's starting to heat up, so I'll see you guys later!  Make sure to stop by chat today.  We might make an appearance!
SO?!?!?!

How'd it go!?!?!?
Day 2 is posted here on the blog, and day 3 should go up shortly.

The summit itself was amazing.

Beautiful campus, beautiful state, and tons of people out there fighting the same battle we are. However...

Many of those fighting the battle with us don't know how hard it is to quit. The educational literature is based on prevention and message, while the studies stop at the decision level. We need to change that. We need to get out our message as to what it actually takes to be quit.

We need to craft our message into this academia crowd.

Impact=effectiveness X Reach

(I totally stole that equation from a doctor there.)

Our message is of quit, and we are the most effective program out there to quit smokeless tobacco. We extend all over the US. We should never be content with anything less than success, and we should be available to anybody out there that wants to be quit. We can't be drowned out by all of the "theories" out there on how to quit when we know the secret already.
Awesome!

Can't wait to hear how it ended up.

Nice job you two, and thanks for representing!
What is your major malfunction?!?!?!?!
