Was just doing some thinking. Guys want me in on the golf outing this weekend. Think I'm going
to tell them I'm out. Couple dippers in the group, cigars will be burning as well as beers flowing and I do not
think I'm there yet. I know when I Post roll in the morning I say ODAAT and try not to look into the future too much
but on this one I have to let them know so they can get the foursomes together. It's a benefit so I'm going
to just let them keep the money as a donation. Signed up before I quit. Anyways quitting on you with all you bastards!!
I'm a member of the Masonic Lodge here. Basically everyone dips there (except) the beyond old fellers.

I didn't attend the first 3 weeks during the beginning of my quit knowing I would have to face them.

I don't blame you one bit for wanting to sit this one out. Tough decision.

Every day I eat lunch with a friend that dips he is around 46 and he has dipped since he was a kid. Every day as soon as he is done eating he throws it in. In the beginning I was real leary at the same time I couldn't really say hey, put that away I'm in the process of quitting, now thankfully I kind of ignore it now, and the smell is nasty. I never understood the wife and anyone else telling me that stinks, now I know they weren't lying.
Bad ass.

You will golf again. This thread shows you getting stronger with each post.
Good call JGlav! You'll know when your ready to cross that bridge. Damn proud to quit with you today!!!!

I am dreading the first time I come across this. Luckily I am working like a fool and friends know I will not have time. It will slow down in a couple of weeks and that is when the triggers will start popping up.

Stay strong and reach out if you need anything.

I am proud to quit with you today.

JGlav, just checking in and wanted to give you a pat on the back for maintaining a 100% roll posting rate. Such a critical task and although it seems so trivial, posting roll is so important. It's foundational. ODAAT bro, I'm with you.
I second what Mr. Bomb had to say. You're showing us all you're here to quit hard. Keep up the good work!
Thanks guys. It truly is one day at a time. Posting that promise is a huge wake up
Call to be honest to you quitters and myself. Thanks for the support. It really does help the day
Go on more easily.
It's a reward in itself posting roll!!!! The way I feel about it! Congrats on quitting another day JGlav!

Just reading this intro for the first time - like a walk down memory lane. Snippets of personal gains and tasting the fruits of freedom. Love this shit.

Believe me, you've only just scratched the surface of liberation; it continues to get better and better. Sure they'll be bumps in the road (like the dip dream) and challenges along the way, but all these personal victories will continue to stack up. Forge some bonds and friendships here. When you look back on these daily victories, you think to yourself, never again do I want to revert back to my addict ways. Once you throw some true friends on that, your quit foundation becomes that much stronger. All of it just makes it much easier to tell nicotine to go fuck itself. Keep it up JGlav
Amen Steak. Still ODAAT, I have to constantly remind myself of that. I'm a hard charging motherfucker and sometimes think I'M better than a quit a day.
It's so damn refreshing not having to worry about where I'M going to get that next tin. I can drive home with my son after baseball without stopping for
a can. Life is good.
Never forget where you came from and you will never go back. Life is great with kids, grandkids in my case, being with them and not having to worry about hiding the shit from them and it's amazing how much more free time you have with them! I was so selfish for 38 year's, I cheated my kids and myself out of years of family time! Quit on and relish every second with your family, just like you've always heard there grown before you know it!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

Way to go JGlav! Quitting is awesome isn't it?

I for one, never even thought about quitting.

Seeing where I am now, I question myself daily as to why I didn't try this before? I love the quit!

Quit on JGlav!

Had the most screwed up dream last night. So here I am headed into my 2nd month dip free. Feeling pretty damn cocky.
Go to bed early last night, nice benefit of quitting, and I dream that my wife my two boys and my daughter are all in the
living room having a dip. WTF is that??? I am continually baffled how the mind works under the addiction of nicotine.
Nicotine is very good at worming its way into whatever is going well in your life and trying to take credit for it. Kick it to the curb, laugh at it, then wake and post roll.

That is a win, keep them piling up with your +1s.
