So going back to work today after being away for 2 weeks. My anexity is not too bad but my stomic just feels upset. Work was the only place u dipped cause I would hide it from my wife. This is also the place I had a panic attack 2 weeks ago then I stopped the dipping. Today is day 11 with no dip and it is a big day for me as I have to get back to working. I hope the stomic will settle once I get there and no one looks at the different. I know my anexity has got better as I had none yesterday but have has a little today. Currently sitting at the doctor to get clearance to go back to work. Keep me in yall praise.

Thanks
Neil
Sitting at work now all I think about is a dip after eating my lunch. Only time will make these cravings go away. Thanks all for the support.

Well the anxiety got the best of me today I left work and went to the er the Dr said everything looked good I do have some small spots of leukoplakia, go to the ent Wednesday to have them checked out.
Stay strong brother it got the best of me also, but had a lot of support here and my family. I promise it may feel like it's never going to get better but rest assured the mind has to rewire itself and you will start feeling so much better. Best of luck with your struggle I was there last week.

Nothing wrong with getting checked out my man - if nothing else it'll give you some peace of mind.

Hang in there!

None of us are ever "safe" I believe that. Any one of us could fall off the wagon anytime but yesterday I was sitting on my couch and actually tried to imagine what it actually felt like to have in my mouth. To do a little repack with my tongue when it would get a little spread out in my lip. It's only been 20 weeks for me this coming Thursday but the thought of what it even felt like is gone....it was so odd.

I hope so I have no desire to ever use that crap again the feeling of somethimg stuck at my tonsils, neck pain, vomiting, head aches and all of the other stuff going on is enough to have me terrified I've been trying to wait until I've been at my job long enough to have insurance to go to the Dr but I may wind up in the er tonight I'm not sure how much more of the anxiety I can take

Anyone else experience vomiting when they quit I over all feel great and haven't dipped in about a week now I'm just tired of the anxiety and worrying I feel like I'm going insane. Hope everyone has a great easter!
I'm on day 10 now and I am still waking up with a little tummy pain. The anxiety is residing but I have found mediation to be my key. I do it three times a day 15 min sessions. It is a long process but hang in there it will get so much better. ;)

New to the site, I wish I'd found it earlier! 20 year dipper quit 2 times recently. Made it over 6 months each time but caved for no reason. I like the idea of roll call. This time I truly HATE nicotine and I'm done forever.

Never quit quitting!! That's my 2 cents
Welcome Grey Beard! Learning to truly hate nicotine is a huge step towards success.
