Blows that we lost two more Disciples this week. Probably another one on the list going to get bit or already has been bit by the nasty NIC BITCH.
UGHHHHH
Don't think about it this way JG. You can not let others' inability to control their addictions affect your ability to control yours. We lost a guy I was pretty close to in October about two weeks before he would have hit HOF. He did our spreadsheet sometimes and came out of the gates firing on all cylinders. He didn't reach out to anybody before he went back to banging the can. That hit me pretty hard, and I was legitimately dragging ass for about a day, but in the end, I own my quit only. That's the thing about addicts, drugs, alcohol, nic, whatever. You can only support an addict to help them quit for themselves. You can't quit for them, nor should you have to. If the addict cannot put the multitude of reasons to quit ahead of the poison that controls their lives, nothing you can do will be enough.

Quit FOR you. Quit WITH your Disciples. Ultimately, each of us comes in here with a decision to make every single day. Put your name on the line or not. As long as you're making the right choice today and keeping your word, you've won.
The King is absolutely right - your quit is about you and you alone. Granted, I hear you 100% that when a quit brother caves or just falls off the face of the earth it hits you pretty hard. Go check out my intro, you'll see a post I made about a guy in our group who after 400+ days basically told my quit group to go F ourselves because he was too busy. My stance on that guy today - he can go F himself. I know who my real friends are...and like any friendship, it takes time to figure out who the real ones are.

Stay the course bro, you're quit has been a pleasure to watch.
^^^as time goes by this will become clearer. Helping others helps yourself. If others don't wanna quit... You know... Somebody has to pay for all of those Phillip Morris jets and oncologist Mercedes. It won't be us.

I hear ya.

Had a dentist appointment this evening. Was sort of dreading it and sort of looking for a post quit mouth update
from the professional. So she's all jazzed up about my quit. Told her to tell any guys that come to her who chew to check
out KTC. She said she would make a note but not many people that dip actually come to the dentist. So report is gums are good
cheeks look great and I have one filling that's old and needs replacing. All in all a good day. I had so much fucking plaque
on my teeth I thought the damn technician was going to breakout the diamond grinder. So I got that goin' for me which is nice.

Quit on brothers!
My friend you are doing great! Guess what, you will see so many great things happening, keep quitting. Life is great! It's worth every damn thing you're going through! Quit on!
Tobacco is so addictive it took me a year after a massive heart attack, in which doctor confirmed caused from dipping to finally put a lid on the bitch! ODAAT EDD

All right still don't know if something like this goes in December roll post or here but i'll put it here for now.
I have been putting down some thoughts on the various changes in my daily life that occurred since my quit.
Tonight i actually cooked dinner with my wife. Not grilling steaks or burgers type cooking. Real deal in the kitchen shit.
I know this sounds pretty ghey, but we dropped the kids at school for a night football game and had the little one home
with us. We all just cooked dinner together. 42 days ago I would have been on the couch Ninja dipping while she
cooked dinner. Pretending like I was really into the college football game on ESPN or some stupid shit. Just another win in my book.
Not to mention helping with dinner helps 'ole JGlav tonight if you know what I mean 'winker'

Quitting with all you bad asses!
I've been posting significant events like this on my introduction thread as well rather than in December. Mainly because I like having a place to read those posts back to myself later. If those posts help someone else that is great too but they are really there to help me. When I am having a tough day I read my introduction thread from start to finish and it always helps me find new strength.

We quit on the same day JGlav and every time you report a victory it makes me smile.

I quit with you today.
Thats Good stuff Stranger. Cool to hear you are a Birds fan. I have season tix. We definitely need to connect.
Got a bunch of dudes in my section that dip. Staying clear till stronger. Particularly with a couple beers. We got this
nic shit for today for sure! We share quit birthdays. That's cool shit. Think about it, in the entire country of people who want to
quit chew you and I quit the same day.
I was at the Eagles-Cowboys game on our Day 16. Some jerk-off Cowboy fan kept packing a huge lip full of cat turd just two seats away. I wanted to smack that shit out of his mouth and get him on our roll. I might have tried if he wasn't a Cowboys fan. LOL :D
'getaroom'

roflmao Just kidding. Both of you guys are killing it. Your recording your wins in the right place. This is your journal to look back on in the future. My favorite victory is being able to spend quality time with my wife also. Our wives deserve husbands who want to be with them. Now a weed doesn't stand in the way of that being a reality. You have many more wins to experience. I look forward to quitting with you here while they happen. Quit on.
Gotta be a cowboy's fan 'na na' . Just kidding. I see you boxed brother. I took a couple years off wrestling and boxed as a kid.
One of the best things I did athletically. Had some great coaches and taught me a ton. Whole different perspective from wrestling.
This is awesome stuff JGlav, keep crushing it and nice job on the 6 weeks!
